Things to do when staying at Port Albert - visit Yarram Courthouse Gallery, Woodside Beach and lunch at the Woodside Beach Hotel

After leaving Port Albert, we stopped in Yarram to visit the Yarram Courthouse Gallery and enjoyed the beautiful exhibition showing and bought books about local walking trails from the gallery shop. We drove on to Woodside Beach and worked up an appetite with a leisurely walk along the magnificent Woodside Beach, part of the famous 90 Mile Beach, where you can literally see for miles and miles. It’s just under half an hour’s drive from Port Albert. Afterwards, we introduced our Melbourne friends to lunch at “the Woody” - Woodside Beach Hotel, which is actually in Woodside! Their Woody Burgers and their porterhouse steak were delicious choices, accompanied by a local wine. We ate, we talked, we laughed and we all agreed we had a great day out.
