Port Albert is the perfect place to see the Aurora Australis and the night sky

On 24 April our neighbour, Rory Stainer, took this amazing shot with his iPhone of the Aurora Australis - the dancing Southern Lights. At approximately 5.20am he captured this phenomenon from his verandah looking out towards Wilsons Promontory. Thank you Rory for sharing it with me. Unfortunately, I wasn’t here at that time and missed it. It is now my mission to see this amazing phenomenon myself. No need to travel abroad, I can see it from our Port Albert Waterview Retreat!

Then at 10.20pm on the same day, Hang Tr took a spectacular shot of the Aurora Australis and the Milky Way at Port Albert Stockyard Point.
