Birdlife in abundance at Port Albert

Early this morning, what looks like a wattle bird flew into our front window. I went outside to find it laying near the garden belly up. So I carefully picked it up and held it in my hands while it got it’s breath back. It then flew into the garden bed and I took its photo and went inside. I looked out the window to find the bird on the fly wire looking in at me as much to say “thank you” and then it flew away. ❤️
