Exhibition of Annemieke Mein until 26 May 2024

A must-see blockbuster exhibition Annemieke Mein: A Life’s Work - A Retrospective at the Gippsland Art Gallery in Sale, Victoria. It’s just an hour’s drive from Port Albert Waterview Retreat. A tip is to arrive early (opens at 9am) and enjoy a leisurely look at the works up close and there are many works to admire and enjoy. There is a dedicated shop too with wonderful souvenirs, books as well as the Visitors Centre shop filled with fabulous local produce gifts and hand-made works by talented local #gippsland artisans and a cafe with great coffee!! I took these photos to show the beauty and the intricate work in these amazing works. It’s breathtaking. There is also a display of garments and sculptures as well as sketches of Anne’s work.
