Morning tea at Milly & Romeo’s, Koonwarra

We always have a break on our road trip

from Melbourne to Port Albert and yesterday we stopped at Milly & Romeo’s cafe in Koonwarra, 8 kms past Leongatha on the South Gippsland Highway. We both ordered the homemade crumpets and I chose the lemon curd and he chose honey. Washed it down with our usual coffee order. They were delicious and very filling so ended up being our lunch. We also bought an artisan loaf of bread which we are enjoying now. We sat inside as it was a bit chilly but outside on the deck looked beautiful. Definitely worth a stop on your next road trip.
